Tambourine dancer
Terracotta. inscribed "Clodion". H 44 cm. 5,2 kg.
Bacchante running fast with raised tambourine and waving robe. The toes of one foot restored and slightly chipped, minimal chips to the hem of the robe.
If Clodion, then: actually Claude Michel, sculptor in Paris, pupil of Pigalle.
