Vitrine cup for the entry of the Allies into Paris in 1814. KPM Berlin.
Sceptre mark, circa 1815. Without painter's mark.
Painting over overprint, gold decoration. Cup (h 9.5 cm), original saucer (Ø 14 cm).
Model "Conical" with campanile handle. The front with a medallion framed by oak leaves and palm fronds with the portraits of Friedrich Wilhelm III, Johann David Ludwig Count Yorck von Wartenburg and Tsar Alexander I, above the slogan "Heil Euch im Siegerkranz!". In the mirror of the saucer the topographical representation of the battle plan on Montmartre, inscribed "Entry into Paris, March 31, 1814.".
