Violin.
Body length: 36.0 cm, scale length: 33.0 cm. 460 g.
4/4 violin, probably 2nd half of the 19th century. Inside with label Joseph Kloz senior in Mittenwald 1863 N:308, spruce top, ribbed maple back and sides, fingerboard probably ebonized hardwood, 2 purflings. Plastic chinrest. Overall with clear signs of age and use: loose tailpiece, traces of glue at the upper end of the fingerboard, a dry crack along the purfling, a splinter on the side at the height of an F-hole.
