Doll Vs. Painted magnesite head with closed eyes, weighted body with navel and pole hole, stitched fingers and toes. White christening dress and matching bonnet, over blue baby romper.
With an old pincushion. Few minimal tears and rubbing to the face, deeper tear to the back of the head.
According to information from the consignor, this doll comes from a trade school in Dortmund-Dorstfeld, where women learned housekeeping. Part of this training was the handling of newborn babies.
