Silk on silk, very fine hand-knotting, gold inlay. Light polychrome decoration. Approx. 125 x 84 cm.
Curved mihrab with a vase motif, flanked by trees of life, flowering branches and exotic birds. Three-row border with palmettes, birds and trailing flowers, short kilim with fringes. The background of the niche and the border with embroidered lahn threads. Slight signs of age and wear.
