Neo-Baroque period clock with Chronos motif.
2nd half of the 19th century
Unmarked movement with half-hour strike on bell, lateral repeating train on the inside. Functional in short time test, overhaul recommended. Gold-colored dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and hands typical of the style, outer edge with floral gavures. Beneath the dial a gilt, open-worked metal relief inlay with chronos, rocailles, shells, foliage and flowers.
Various woods, veneered, light scroll inlays and thread inlays. 62 x 30 x 15 cm.
Waisted, three-sided glazed case with attached hipped roof and floral bronze crowning, voluted base with four pressed ball feet. Slight signs of age and wear, minor defects and repairs in places, floral crowning loose.
With pendulum with thread suspension, key.
