Mid 20th century Iran.
Wool, hand-knotted. Strong coloration in predominantly red, blue and white, slight abrasion. Approx. 88 x 57 cm.
Bridge format with a three-part, hooked bar medallion on a red ground, surrounded by stylized animal figures and small rosettes. Blue-ground border with a flower spike and crenellated border, knotted fringes, leather-reinforced long sides, two-tone edge wrapping. Partially stained, defects to the edges, a repair to the pile in the center.
