Late Tempire pendulum with antique figure with wheelbarrow.
France. Mid 19th century
Unmarked movement with half-hour strike on bell. Functional in short time test, overhaul recommended. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, minute ring and Breguet hands.
White alabaster, gilt brass. 52 x 30.5 x 15.5 cm.
Stele-shaped case with a crowning male figure pushing an antique-style wheelbarrow with griffin legs and wing relief, containing a vase with a flower. Stele with classicist decorative elements, on four pressed feet. Slight signs of age and wear, chipped edges, partially cracked, bell only loosely attached, dial with hairline cracks and partially retouched defects.
With key and pendulum with thread suspension.
