Rare bust head doll "Empress Augusta". Alt, Beck & Gottschalck.
Unmarked. Circa 1880.
Bisque porcelain, fabric. L 60 cm.
Finely modeled chest head with painted blue eyes, elaborately designed hairstyle and modeled blouse with iron cross. Cloth body with attached original leather boots. Light blue velvet dress recreated after old models. Head and arms without defects. Body slightly worn, fabric of the forearms mended.
