Mark "Baranówka" with three asterisks, around 1820/30.
Polychrome painted, decorated in gold. Cup (h 9.5 cm), original saucer (Ø 14 cm).
Footed crater cup with high curved handle. Etched gold background and a surrounding band of white rose petals, gilded inside.
Porcelain factory Baranowka: Founded in 1801 by Michel Mezer and his brother. The manufactory's early products were on a par with those of the St. Petersburg Imperial Manufactory in terms of quality. After M. Mezer's death in 1820, the quality of the porcelain declined. lease of the manufactory in 1845 and continuation as a porcelain factory for stacked ware until 1895.
