Sword with decorated Kling and eagle's head.
Mexico.
Straight, single-edged Kling with two fullers and opulent pattern etching. Inscribed: "Independencia", "Fabrica de Toledo". The nickel-plated guard plate probably bears the Mexican coat of arms of the eagle with a serpent in its beak, above it the Jacobin cap in a halo. Grip of light-colored composition body with craquelure, eagle's head pommel. Probably a reference to the Mexican independence movement (1810 - 1821).
