Patinated bronze. "Jef. Lambeaux" inscribed. H 69 cm. 27.55 kg.
Bust of a young, smiling woman wearing a hood and looking slightly to the left. Minimal signs of age and wear, rubbed patina, scratches on the hood.
If this is Joseph Maria Thomas Lambeaux, then: Belgian sculptor (1852 Antwerp - 1908 Brussels), studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where he was a pupil of Joseph Geefs, became a full member of the Académie royale de Belgique in 1902.
