Art Nouveau terracotta female figure
France. Around 1900, unmarked. Signed "Duray" on the base. Model no. 5450 8. Red body, predominantly glazed in matt brown tones. H approx. 73 cm.
Antique-like figure of a girl in a long dress and with a waving scarf, her hair adorned with a wreath of leaves and a red bow, on a natural base. Conceivably an allegorical depiction. Both arms and head restored, chipped in places, right hand with missing finger, cracks in places.
