Large Art Nouveau terracotta bust "Cleopatra". Viennese manufactory Friedrich Goldscheider.
Marked GS 7, ca. 1895-1910, with the addition "Reproduction Reservée", ca. 1885-1922. Signed "Cherc" on the base. Model no. 1922 1 35. design: around 1899/1900.
Light body, bronze-colored matt glaze in shades of brown, decorated with gold. H approx. 57 cm.
Antique-style woman looking to the right with a winged and cobra-crowned helmet and a snake coiling up her robe, on a round base in floral relief. Glaze rubbing and small chips in places, restored, including the snake's head on the base and the cobra crowning the helmet.
