Art Nouveau terracotta bust of a woman "Sunflowers". Vienna manufactory Friedrich Goldscheider.
Relief mark GS 13 Sculpture, 1900-1920, with the addition "Reproduction Reservée", ca. 1895-1922. Around 1900/01. Incised "A. Bertrand" (probably a pseudonym) on the base. Model no. 2296 8 21. Design: according to the GS catalog raisonné, the Italian artist Ipazzio Antonio Bortone (1844-1938) can be assumed behind the signature "A. Bertrand".
Light body, light and dark bronze matt glaze, decorated with gold. H approx. 48.5 cm.
Allegorical bust "Hyliothrope" of a young woman looking to the left with sculptural sunflower decoration. Restored to some leaves and flowers, slightly chipped and rubbed in places.
