Art Nouveau centerpiece with nymph. Amphora, Turn-Teplitz.
Embossed and stamped mark, from 1902. c. 1905/10. model no. 747.
Fine stoneware, painted in stone grey, green and blue, decorated in gold. H approx. 46 cm.
Fluently shaped bowl as a shallow water wave with organically growing foliage and flowers, crowning female figure in transparent dress with arm raised to an iris flower. Leaves partly chipped, headdress/hair attachment missing.
Provenance : Museum estate of Peter Kaus.
