The forest floor still life is a rare and special genre of still life painting, in which living plants are arranged in an interesting way in a forest setting. Berlin stamp Keltz and Meiners, purveyors to the court, profiled gold frame on the stretcher.
* Dietrich, still life painter, daughter and pupil of the painter Professor Eduard Dietrich (1803-1877), regularly represented at exhibitions in Dresden, Berlin, Bremen and Kassel since 1847, around 50 of her works have survived.
