* Dreydorff, also Dreydorff-Knocke, landscape, genre, interior and still life painter, studied at the academy in Düsseldorf, pupil of Heinrich Lauenstein and Peter Janssen, lived on the North Sea coast in Knokke and Sint Anna ter Muiden near Sluis from 1895, resident in Krefeld since 1914, in winter in Pontresina in the side valley of the Engadin, member of the Berlin Secession, works in various German museums.
