* Hoffmann, landscape, veduta and genre painter, watercolorist, draughtsman, studied at the academies in Kassel and Berlin, pupil of Otto Knille and Fritz Schaper. Member of the Willingshausen painters' colony, works in several German museums, his works were also sold as reproductions.
