Molding 1935-1947. model year: 1919, model no. A 1009 (old mold no. F 270, new mold no. 60830). Model from. SCHEURICH, Paul(1883 New York - 1945 Brandenburg)
Height: 38 cm, width: 57 cm.
White porcelain, dial and pendulum lens painted gold, mounted ball feet. Unglazed base, incised mark, pressed mark, sword mark on the base. Movement marked: Brevete S.C.D.G., porcelain dial with Arabic numerals in relief, striking mechanism on bell, key winding, pendulum with porcelain pendulum bob. Two hairline cracks to the sides of the base, base edge minimally chipped from below, slightly uneven stand, small firing crack to the back, glaze defect visibly repaired, key missing.
* Scheurich, painter, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor, modeller, studied at the academy in Berlin, provided models for various German porcelain manufactories, titular professor in 1924, one of the most important porcelain sculptors of his time * Meissen manufactory price: 33,000 euros.
