Height: 60.5 cm.
Ornamental and floral relief, gold painted, mounted round base. Incised mark, impressed mark, painter's mark, crossed swords mark painted twice. Heavy signs of use, rubbed gold, soiling, especially in the handle area, which cannot be cleaned with conventional means, can be partially removed by scratching with a scalpel, mounting loose.
* Leuteritz, sculptor, studied at the academy in Dresden. 1849-1886 head of design at the Meissen manufactory, professor in 1882, worked on existing 18th century vessel forms and figures and designed vases, clocks, candlesticks and figures himself, the most prolific modeler of historicism.
