Inscribed on an old adhesive label on the reverse, plain framing strip. Small paint flakes in places, heavy craquelure, slightly wavy in two corners, framing strip defective.
* Perlberg, architecture and landscape painter, watercolorist, Orientalist, son of the painter Georg Christian Perlberg, studied at the School of Applied Arts in Nuremberg and in Paris. Traveled to Italy, Spain, the Orient and North America, works in various German museums.
