Case number: 2360. The movement is marked Buttes Watch Co, with an anchor escapement, a blued Breguet balance spring, a screw-compensated balance, jewels, and crown winding.
Both outer covers stamped “585 yellow gold”; the dust cover is gold-plated metal, stamped. Diameter: 5.08 cm. 80.2 g.
Golden spring-lid pocket watch with a 585 yellow gold case, the front of which is monogrammed with FB in a playfully designed cartouche. The dial features Arabic numerals for hours and minutes, a small seconds hand, and lozenge-shaped hands. Found to be in working order during a brief test. The dial has some dust and signs of wear; the case shows some signs of age and use, including a few small dents.
Features a dedication engraving from 1929 on the dust cover.
