English broadsword with monogram and leather scabbard.
19th century. Great Britain.
Total length 107 cm.
Single-edged, straight blade with a wide hollow grind. Beautiful blade engraving with a crowned monogram "VR" (Queen Victoria 1837–1901). Four-bar iron guard with a waffled pattern on the thumb rest. Ribbed fish-scale grip. Metal scabbard with leather covering, in good condition for its age.
