Porcelain clock with base.
Unmarked, Bohemia, 2nd half of the 19th century
White with gold decoration. H 37 cm, H with pedestal 45 cm.
Curved case with rich, openwork rocaille decoration featuring floral motifs. Clock with string suspension, enamel dial and Roman numerals; movement hallmarked “AD. Hunziker Paris” (= Adolphe Hunziker [1810–1864]). Movement is not running; servicing is recommended. Base designed to match the clock. Dial has hairline cracks; gold has worn off; flowers are minimally chipped.
