Collection of 11 pieces of student paraphernalia from the Franconia Jena fraternity: - one pipe bowl with the fraternity's monogram - 2 ribbons, one of which has a ribbon button - 2 beer mugs, one of which is a ceremonial mug with vine leaf embroidery in gold metallic thread, each with a dedication embroidered on the inside: Dr. F. Nuernbergk filio cariss. suo Dr. H. Nuernbergk Jena W. S. 1933. and O. Ross s./b. Dr. F. Nuernbergk zur frdl. Erg. Jena, Jan. 20, 1922. as well as - 5 differently framed paper cutouts with pencil inscriptions; the figures depicted likely belong in part to other fraternities. In addition, another pipe bowl bearing the coat of arms and motto of a different fraternity, inscribed on the reverse with Faust Raul [illegible, as the writing is slightly worn] Flott Jena 1860. Overall, showing clear signs of age and wear; one beer keg has stitched tears and a missing section in the inner lining, the other has minor losses in the embroidery as well as discoloration of the gold-colored metal wire in the vine leaf embroidery, A pipe bowl that has been glued and has a chip in the rim, and the frames of the paper cutouts are, in some cases, showing significant wear.
