Burl wood with various inlays. Total dimensions: 30 x 22 x 25 cm; the chest measures 24.2 x 15.2 x max. 14.8 cm (internal dimensions without insert). 2.1 kg.
High-quality, intricately crafted jewelry box in the shape of a high-legged chest. The interior features a quartered compartment, with a smaller compartment in the center that can be opened. Inside this secret compartment is a geometrically inlaid base, as well as a depiction of a rose on the lid (also inlaid work). Comes with the original key. Stress cracks along the lower edges and a repair to the rear right leg using adhesive; otherwise, only minor signs of wear consistent with its age (e.g., small dry cracks in the lid veneer, minimal, isolated imperfections in the veneer).
