Art Deco Vase. Lötz.

Colorless glass with a pink-tinted opal glass interior, opaque black glass. H 15.5 cm.
Tango glass. Slender, ovoid body with a recessed neck and a solid hyalite base with four extended, petal-like lobes. Minimal chip marks on the rim.
As a similar vase with a hollow base: design by Michael Powolny for the 1914 Cologne Werkbund Exhibition (PN III-285). The vase offered here, with its solid base, is a later factory variant by Lötz.
