Young woman in a long bathing suit, standing with arms outstretched, preparing to dive. Signs of age and wear, minor cracks and chips, cracks running around the arms.
If this is by Eugène Bourgouin, then: French sculptor (1880, Reims – 1924, Paris), worked in the studio of Louis-Ernest Barrias; from 1901, studied at the École nationale des arts décoratifs in Paris and subsequently transferred to the École des beaux-arts.
