The movement is marked Taveau Frères à Paris.

Fire-gilded pendulum clock in the Neo-Rococo style with rich rocaille and floral-vegetal ornamentation. The fire-gilded dial features inlaid enamel plates with Roman numerals and Gothiques trèfles hands. Found to be in working order during a brief test. One side ornament is loose, one movement-holding screw is noticeably bent, the gilding is partially worn, and the enamel plates show some loss, particularly along the edges.
