Terracotta, glazed in shades of brown. H approx. 55 cm. 5.04 kg.
Bust of the female title character Salambo from the novel of the same name by Gustave Flaubert, depicted in a lively manner with flowing hair, floral adornments, a tiara, and a necklace; on a tapered natural pedestal with the inscription "Salambo". Hair ornaments and hair slightly chipped; paint partially chipped.
