Two-part bust of Ceres, the goddess of agriculture, wearing a wreath of ears of grain as a headdress; fluted pedestal with a sheaf of grain and a sickle, landscape motifs on the sides. The pedestal is connected to the removable bust by a metal rod. Pedestal with a hairline crack that has been taped over and some chips; bust glued together in several places, partially retouched; wreath of hair with chips, partially glued.
