Faience, polychrome high-fire enamel painting. Height approx. 69 cm. 15.42 kg.
Two-part bust of Bacchus—the god of wine—with grapes and vine leaves as a headdress; on the robe, a big cat’s paw resting over the left shoulder; a fluted pedestal decorated with pumpkins, pears, and grapes, with coastal motifs on the sides. The base is connected to the removable bust by a metal rod. Base is glued, with hairline cracks and chips; bust has a firing crack on the neck and glaze chips.
