Thesis in the field of “Photography,” labeled on the title page “Scrap Becomes Steel—Steel Becomes Bread.” A book about the men of the Riesa Steelworks, who, like all working people in the German Democratic Republic, contribute every day and every hour to fulfilling our plan and creating a happy future. Produced as a diploma thesis at the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig, in the summer of 1952." Consisting of approx. 20 plates with photographs and text pages. Slipcase damaged, pages slightly browned, photo mounts partially loose.
