Meinr. Xav. Golberry: “Journey Through West Africa in the Years 1785, 1786, and 1787,” Berlin and Hamburg 1804, translated from the French by J.A. Bergk. 6, 442 pages (incomplete), in a half-leather binding with red edges, 21 x 13 cm. / Theodor von Heuglin: “Travels in Northeast Africa—Diary of a Journey from Khartoum to Abyssinia, with Special Reference to Zoology and Geography, Undertaken in the Years 1852–1853,” Gotha 1857, Published by Justis Perthes, 8, (2), 136 pages with a few illustrations, one map, and one fold-out chart, in a cloth binding, 21.5 x 14 cm. / Waldemar Werther: “The Central Highlands of Northern German East Africa—Scientific Findings of the Irangi Expedition 1896–1897, Along with a Brief Travel Account,” Berlin 1898. 493 pages with illustrations and 2 missing maps, which are included as color copies. Half-leather binding, 29 x 20 cm. / Heinrich Salt’s: “A New Journey to Abyssinia in the Years 18098 and 1810,” translated from the English and accompanied by several notes by Friedrich Rühs. Weimar 1815, from the series “New Library of the Most Important Travel Accounts…,” edited by Bertuch. 16, 480 pages, one map (copy), in a cardboard binding, 20 x 12.5 cm. The books have not been collated; they contain owner’s marks as well as signs of age and wear.
