Large Art Nouveau terracotta sculpture group of children titled "Grape Harvest"
Circa 1910. Stamped “Made in Belgium.” Signed “Calendi” on the base. Model No. 1847. Designed by Armando CALENDI (1882–1943). Light-colored clay body, stone-gray with a matte glaze in shades of brown. H approx. 43 cm, W 64 cm.
Four children with baskets filled with grapes during the grape harvest, on a transverse oval natural pedestal. Firing crack on the underside, partially restored, including on the arms; slight glaze abrasions.
