Egg-shaped container for perfume bottles.
Height 21.3 cm. 665 g.
Mounted on a round stone base is an egg, likely made of coque de perle or the shell of a species of turban snail, which can be opened with a push button. Inside, on a stand, are 2 perfume bottles. The glass stoppers inside the bottle lids have some small chips, as does the inner rim of the bottles; there are slight, mostly superficial chips on the base, and the egg sits quite loosely on top of it.
Some of the material is listed in Annex B of the EU Species Protection Regulation; therefore, no sale or shipment to bidders outside the EU.
