Circa 1810–1830.
26.5 x 11.5 x 40.0 cm. 2.44 kg.
Empire clock in need of restoration with partially ebonized veneer and brass appliqués on a curved decorative element featuring swan necks. The dial features a minute track, Arabic numerals for the quarter-hours, and Roman numerals for the full hours . Function not tested. The pendulum is broken off. A decorative element screwed onto the top is missing, as is one of the beaks from the swan-neck ornaments; the veneer on the base, especially on the back, shows signs of age and wear, some of which are quite noticeable; the dial’s enamel has scratches and some areas of loss. The case shows inactive anobiid infestation on the back.
