Portrait of a young Southern European woman picking oranges and portrait of a Dutch fisherman’sgirl with baskets full of fish. Each shows slight signs of aging.
Portrait, genre, and landscape painter; illustrator. Spent his childhood in Budapest. Studied at the Academy in Munich. Member of the Munich Art Association. Worked in his own studio in Berlin from around 1906 onward. A large number of his paintings were distributed on artist postcards.
