Painter and graphic artist in Stuttgart; studied at the Karlsruhe Academy under Baisch and C. Meyer and at the Académie Julian in Paris. Has been a professor in Stuttgart since 1900. His paintings clearly show an affinity with Leo Putz and the “Scholle” artists’ association.
