Limbs and body of wood, upper arms stuffed with wire soul, wax heads. Silk, velvet, wirework, glass. H maximum 19 cm (without plinth).
Splendidly dressed wise men from the Orient; one kneeling. 1 head glued, partly heavier signs of age/use. Plinths added.
Imaged in the accompanying exhibition catalog Collection on Folklore in Hesse. Christmas cribs yesterday and today. 1980/81.
