Noble face of the prince. Some chipping, painted over younger.
F. Woltreck to be possibly a natural son of Duke Leopold III of Anhalt-Dessau. Pupil of Werner Henschel in Kassel and of d'Angers in Paris. Since 1830 in Germany (Berlin, Munich), numerous travels. Woltreck's aim was to create a collection of portraits of famous contemporaries in bronze for the library hall of Wörlitz Palace; however, the majority were only executed in plaster.
