German artist, studied at the Humboldt University Berlin. Founded with Wolf Biermann the theater b.a.t. and was then editor of the "Neue Berliner Illustrierte". Later worked as a research assistant at the Humboldt University. From 1976 he is active as an autodidactic painter.
