Atmospheric evening light over the coast with castle or lighthouse. 1 back-taped tear 2 cm, without retouching.

Studied at the Vienna Academy with August Eisenmenger and Eduard Peithner and with Franz von Lenbach in Munich. Around 1895-1899 Paul von Spaun belonged to Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach's circle of artists and joined his artists' commune "Humanitas" in Ober Sankt Veit. At the end of 1899 he went with Diefenbach to Capri, after World War I he was active in Wolfratshausen and Munich.
