France, 1st half 19th c. Movement no. 548.
Unmarket movement with half-hour strike on bell, running. Silvered dial with Roman numerals, minute ring and Breguet hands.
Bronze, gilt and greenish patinated. Clock 32.5 x 22.5 x 9.5 cm | glass dome H total 43.5 cm.
High base with classicist relief decoration and crowning figure of an Oriental seated and smoking a pipe. On rosewood veneered wooden base with floral inlays. Defective glass fall. Slight signs of age and wear, dial rubbed, traces of soldering.
