Modern sculpture of a large female head with long hair and flower branch. Schauseitig a fire crack, which was included in the base design, in that the crack is taken up by the wooden base and continued.
Peter Strang shaped as a modeller from the late 1960s significantly the artistic program of the porcelain manufactory Meissen. After his studies at the University of Fine Arts Dresden (diploma), he worked first freelance and from 1968 as a permanently employed sculptor in the development department. From 1993 until his retirement he was artistic director and chief sculptor of the manufactory. He received numerous awards for his services.
