Simple timeless form with movable ring handles. Hallmarks: Master's mark St. Mayerhofer, M in double eagle, Viennese hallmark with year and fineness. Muzzle rim from bottom with small defect, small hole.
Mayerhofer (1772-1852), founded a plating factory in Vienna in 1797. 1816 imperial-royal court plater. From 1822 production of silverware. From 1830, collaboration with Carl Klinkosch (1797-1860).
