Painted Biedermeier glass cooler.
Early 19th century
Copper sheet painted and lacquered, cast metal feet and brass handles. 13 x 31 x 24 cm.
Also usable as a jardiniere, oval glass cooler with volute feet and matching rim. On dark lacquer on the long sides each colorful flowers (mostly roses) and each a tondo with putto head. Solder repairs, at least feet supplemented, signs of age / use.
