Large baroque chest lock with original key.
Early 18th century
Wrought iron. Total 40 x 15 cm, backset 14.5 cm, L key 10 cm.
Large key plate vegetal chased and engraved, as well as the counterpart on the lid of the chest. Pincer lock with single-face (hoop and cruciform straightening disc). Key with large die. Mild cracks in the shields, minor corrosion.
