Romantic, lyrical marine with calm smooth sea, filled with a mysterious silence. Washed gold frame with cloth mount. Gilding rubbed on the frame.
Chabanian, landscape painter, draftsman, graphic artist. Father of Heran Chaban. Studied at the College Murad-Rafaelyan in Venice. Resided in Paris from 1894, then studied at the Académie Julian, pupil of Gustave Moreau. Co-founder of the Société des Artistes de Marines. 1910 Chevalier of the Legion of Honor * Partner auction miner.
